Wikipedia is one of the top 10 websites in the world with between 7 - 8 billion page views each month. Getting content onto Wikipedia is a great way to educate the world and share information with a global audience. Furthermore, Wikipedia strives to build relationships with universities, galleries, libraries, archives, and museums.
This course will cover the fundamentals of getting started with Wikipedia in the classroom and at the library. We will discuss how to integrate these projects into a course, interacting with the community, and where to find support for your course or event.
